We're so excited to launch a NEW Growth Group: Christianity 101. This Growth Group will last 6 weeks & begins this Sunday, May 5th at 5pm. It will meet upstairs in the Story City Ministry Center at 320 E Angeleno Ave, Burbank, CA 91502. - - - CHRISTIANITY101 IS FOR YOU IF: •You want to know more about how Scripture applies to everyday life •You want to know how the Bible is organized and fits together as one complete whole •You want to know how each book of the Bible connects to the entire story of Scripture •You want to understand the Bible's overarching themes •You want to grasp the Bible's core teachings that have united Christians for 2000 years •You want to understand the basics of the Christian faith - - - There is no fee or need to register. You just need to show up this Sunday at 5pm at the Story City Ministry Center, 320 E Angeleno Ave, Burbank, CA 91502. The group is 6 weeks and will last approximately 1 hour. But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:14‬ . . “What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked. They all answered, “Crucify him!” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:22‬ . . They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said. They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again. After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:28-31‬ . .
